Rotary Scholarship Program
Rotary Club of Teton Valley offers a few different scholarships. The scholarships are merit and need based. We award scholarships based on application, essay, and interview. We are looking for students who are strong leaders who are service minded. The Encouragement scholarship is open to all students. The Phyllis Morey Memorial Scholarship is open to students who are at least 50% Hispanic, and the Rotary Student of the Month is open to any students who have received Student of the Month recognition.

Criteria for Student of the Month Recipient
Academic
Prefer GPA of 3.5 and above.
3.0+ will be considered if a student is enrolled in academically challenging classes.
Service/Social
Looking for students who are volunteering in school, the community and engaged in helping fellow classmates and underclassmen.
Growth
We are interested in honoring students who are demonstrating personal growth in high school.
Ethics
Rotarians live by the 4-Way Test
Is it the TRUTH? Is it FAIR TO ALL CONCERNED? Will it build GOODWILL & BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? Will it be BENEFICIAL TO ALL CONCERNED?
We’re looking for students who also demonstrate these qualities.
Teacher Recommendations
Rotary encourages teacher recommendations and requests the person doing the recommending provide a few highlights on how the student meets the criteria. Including a story of the student in action is very helpful.
*Only students selected as Rotary Students of the Month are eligible at graduation for the $4,000 Student of the Month Scholarship
